Ori Raisman
Born in 1924 in Tel Yosef. Graduated from the Herzeliya Gymnasium, Tel Aviv.
Studied painting at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Jean Souverbie's Studio of Monumental Art. Member of Kibbutz Kabri.
In the early 1950s he stayed in Paris, France, where he studied art. Upon his return to Israel, he established a studio in an abandoned building on the edge of the farm in Kibbutz Kabri.
Rizman painted in oil and depicted landscapes, portraits and still lifes; Many of his paintings centered around Kabri: landscapes and portraits of members of the kibbutz. His portraits are characterized by sharp colors while the earlier ones carried an expressive character and the later ones stood out for their lack of face. Its landscapes are characterized by bright and intense color surfaces bordered by clear lines. Rizman began exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions.
